Electrician Apprentice/Helper

West Bay Energy is seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice/Helper for our expanding team. You will be working closely with our electricians and solar install teams. Our high-quality work separates us from the competition. You will learn the skills necessary to succeed in the quickly expanding renewable energy sector! We are looking for candidates with high attention to detail. We do all work in-house and make sure all installations have a high first-time pass rate for each inspection. If this sounds like you, come join the West Bay team! Eligible for paid time off after 90 days. Health insurance available

Responsibilities:
--- Install and commission electrical components of a solar panel system
--- Understand and follow NEC code requirements
--- Ability to troubleshoot
--- Work with local city and state inspectors for permitting
--- Willing to climb ladders and work on rooftops
--- Follow a safety program and attend safety meetings
--- Excellent customer service skills
--- Upgrade service panels
--- Install and commission backup generators

Qualifications:
--- Able to pass a background check
--- Possess valid driver's license
--- 1+ years of electrical experience
--- Motivated to learn new skills and grow with us as a company
--- Willing to be a team player and learn the skills to become a leader
