Solar Permit Runner - Site Surveyor

Job Description:

West Bay Energy is seeking a motivated permit runner for our expanding team. You will be working closely with our operations manager and customers.

Our high-quality work separates us from the competition. We are looking for a candidate with high attention to detail. We do all work in-house and make sure all installed systems have a high first-time pass-rate for each solar inspection.

Responsibilities:
--- Getting photos of Job sites
--- Driving to and from job sites and building departments
--- Competent in conducting overall inspections to include roofs for structural integrity
--- Maneuver through Attics
--- Meeting with and working closely with inspectors

Qualifications:
--- One year of solar, roof work, or general construction experience, i.e., framing, electrical, roofing, etc. (Preferred)
--- Capable of working at heights, including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing repetitious duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
--- Excellent communication skills in place and remotely and a professional demeanor
--- Must be responsible and manage their schedule to ensure all necessary time-sensitive tasks are followed through minimal outside management
--- Building Department knowledge and establishing relationships
--- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
--- Able to fly a drone (Preferred)
--- Time outside of site surveying/inspections will be spent submitting and picking up permits
--- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean background
