Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced EDI Integration Specialist to lead and execute EDI connectivity projects with a large national retailer and future partners. This role requires hands-on experience with AS2 gateways, EDI mapping, and integration with 3PLs and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, with the ability to configure, test, and maintain EDI workflows that align with our evolving systems landscape.

Key Responsibilities:Set up and manage EDI integrations with major retail partners using AS2 protocol.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional EDI solutions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external trading partners to configure, test, and troubleshoot EDI connections.
Manage EDI transactions (850, 856, 810, etc.) and error resolution in coordination with our 3PL.
Guide the company through EDI onboarding processes and compliance with retail standards.
Support future ERP selection and integration with EDI capabilities.
Maintain documentation of mapping specifications, testing procedures, and communication protocols.
Provide ongoing support and improvements for existing and future EDI workflows.



Qualifications:Proven experience in EDI implementation, mapping, and support, especially in a retail or supply chain environment.
Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT), communication protocols (AS2, FTP/SFTP), and transaction types.
Familiarity with 3PL integration and experience with platforms like TrueCommerce, B2BGateway, SPS Commerce, or similar.
Knowledge of ERP systems and readiness to support EDI integration post-ERP implementation.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Experience with Amazon 1P and transitioning off the platform is a plus.



Preferred Experience:3-5+ years in a similar EDI or integration-focused role.
Hands-on experience working with retail compliance requirements.
Background in IT systems, business operations, or supply chain/logistics.
