Job Description:

Madico is a window film manufacturer looking for machine operators for seasonal positions. These positions offer an opportunity to learn different areas of production as well as the different window film products. There is also the potential to become full time/benefits eligible Madico employee.

After 90 days, seasonal employees are eligible for 14 paid holidays. Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with some days 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m, depending on production needs; additional overtime possible. Positive attitude, teamwork and willingness to learn is a must. Check us out!

Some job responsibilities may include:

• Employee will be responsible for mixers daily "set-up" by removing and retrieving needed chemicals to fulfill mixings daily requirements.
• Maintaining Chemical batches and waste barrels within production line airlocks.
• Maintaining Chemical storage & empty drum storage organization.
• Maintain cleanliness within the department.
• Assist in monthly PM's.
• Stage and load empty barrels when pick-ups are needed.
• Assist Mixing Lead when needed.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Must have basic understanding of Microsoft Excel & Word programs.
• Prior experience with inventory control and processes.
• Able to lift/move heavy items (50) lbs+.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measurements, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:

• Ability to operate power equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Work is performed in a manufacturing and shipping environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is the work environment it can be loud.
