Job Description:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program, with a minimum completion of two (2) years of undergraduate study, required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with computers, including Microsoft Office products, required.

Job Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for performing complex administrative duties. Provides support to the lenders and assists with the servicing and collection of commercial and consumer loans. Works under general direction.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs various administrative tasks related to the lending process for commercial and consumer loans.
  • Sorts and delivers mail, including processing loan payments, overnighting originals and sending other mail items to the correct departments.
  • Works due diligence items for loans (i.e., obtains sunbiz, articles, flood certs).
  • Assists divisions with various tasks and projects as they arise.
  • Works with various departments to gain knowledge of the banking industry.
  • Produces complete, accurate and timely work, as assigned.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

  • Reviews various reports (i.e., Financial Exception, Collateral Exceptions, Maturing Loans, Past Due Loans Report) to identify, research and address exceptions by coordinating with other departments to gather information, sending letters on behalf of the lenders and calling third part vendors to obtain missing items.
  • Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.
  • Follows Bank policy, procedures and guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of general business acumen as learned by education or work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact professionally and appropriately with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet exacting deadlines.
  • Ability to perform under general supervision.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective organizational skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with standard transactions.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Skill in using computer Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
