Job Description Job Description Salary: $16/hr - $20/hr DOE Job description: At Freedom Metal Finishing, we are seeking a dedicated Masker to join our team. As a Masker in our factory, you will be essential in preparing surfaces for painting by applying masking materials with precision. Key Responsibilities Carefully mask and tape off specific areas of metal parts according to work orders and specifications. Inspects parts for cleanliness and proper surface preparation prior to masking Follow blueprints, diagrams, written, and verbal instructions to ensure accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold safety and quality standards. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and issues. Will assist in other duties like packaging and other basics services as needed. Requirements & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Hours are 6:30 am to 3:30 pm from Monday - Friday. Overtime and weekend work are expected and required. Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. Strong organizational skills. Must be an effective communicator who can work well with all levels of management and staff. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Familiarity with masking materials and techniques is preferred but not required. Physical ability to lift 25 lbs. Strong work ethics and commitment to quality.
