Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role in the food service industry. Ability to communicate effectively in English is helpful, especially reading order tickets. Demonstrated manual dexterity and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the planning and development of new menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and quality food delivery. Skills: The required skills of food preparation and manual dexterity are essential for executing recipes accurately and efficiently. Speaking and reading English will facilitate effective communication with team members and understanding of food safety guidelines. The ability to stand for extended periods is crucial as the role involves continuous movement in the kitchen. Skills in food production will be utilized daily to ensure that meals are prepared to the highest standards. Additionally, experience as a Head Chef or in a supervisory role will enhance your ability to lead and mentor junior kitchen staff.
