This is a full-time position predominately working day shift and your schedule will include weekends. We are currently looking for associates who live in or near the areas listed above. As a Sales Merchandiser you will be the primary Coke Florida associate in customer accounts to continuously stock and order Coke Florida products to replenish per consumer needs. Coke Florida has 3 hourly roles on or Sales Merchandiser Team whose schedules vary. They are:Sales Merchandiser (SM): (Route) A Sales Merchandiser will be assigned a regular route within a territory. You will work 5 days per week. Weekend Work required. (Days)Sales Merchandiser Relief (SMS): Sales Merchandiser works with team and provides relief in areas of need (not an assigned territory) you will work 5 days per week, including one weekend shift.Sales Merchandiser Coverage (SMC): Sales Merchandiser covers for heavy volume on weekends, shift is Friday through Monday, and you will work an 8 to 10 hour shift. This is perfect for students!As a Coke Florida Sales Merchandiser, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements in compliance with company standardsMaintain appropriate product inventory levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts including shelf allocation and cold equipmentPlace timely, accurate orders per ad calendar to maintain inventory levels. Adjust orders based on influencing factorsManage back stock inventory levels and trade breakage in assigned accountsMeet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution and appropriate follow upMaintain professional, team relationship with co-workers, customers and shoppersMaintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets and point of sale, ensuring account meets company merchandising standards. Properly face and spin product per applicable standardsDetermine stores' product needs, place and transmit appropriate orderConduct store surveysCommunicate account activities, include equipment service needs to appropriate partiesMaintain merchandising standards while rotating products each time in designated accountsOrganize backroom inventory in an ordered mannerMaintain cleanliness of equipment, sales floor, and shelvesTransport, replace, and maintain point of sale advertising as appropriate for accountMaintain regular and punctual attendanceWork overtime as assignedComply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable lawsIdentifying and reporting any unsafe working conditionsComply with dress code or appearance/grooming standardsWork shifts and work schedules as assignedSkills & Other Requirements to help you succeed in this role include:High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) is requiredAssociate Degree/1-2 year College-Univ. Degree PreferredMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be eligible to work in the United States for any employer1+ years of previous sales/merchandising experience preferredStrong attention to detail and follow-up skillsExcellent planning and organizational skillsAbility to use and understand mobile applicationsProficient in computer application skills1+ years working under minimal or no supervision preferredAbility to operate a manual or powered pallet jack or lift productAs a Coke Florida Sales Merchandiser you will drive your own vehicle to perform the duties of your role. You will be reimbursed for mileage from your first location of the day to your last location of the day. As such, it is required that you:Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working hoursMust have and maintain a valid driver's licenseMust have an maintain current vehicle liability insurance, as specified by companyMust have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless or careless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility for the Sales Merchandiser position.The role of a Sales Merchandiser is extremely physical.
