Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to departmental protocols, ensuring patient safety. Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Review and evaluate developed x-rays or computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes. Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure safety of patients and staff. Record, store, and maintain patient data in digital and film form. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and compliance. Proficient in operating radiologic equipment. Knowledgeable in radiology terminology and patient management techniques. Ability to recognize and troubleshoot technical issues with radiologic equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
