Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated RN Trauma Injury
Prevention Coordinator to join our team to enhance our trauma care
quality by implementing injury prevention strategies and
educational programs. This role requires a deep understanding of
trauma care combined with exceptional capabilities in public health
education and program management, aiming to lower injury incidence
and improve patient outcomes across our vast network of care
facilities. Develop, implement and evaluate injury prevention
programs within the community. Collaborate with trauma service
teams to identify trends in trauma cases and develop preventative
strategies. Conduct public and professional education programs
related to trauma prevention. Participate in research and data
analysis regarding trauma prevention efficacy. Coordinate with
local, state, and national health organizations to align on
prevention strategies. Manage program budgets and apply for grants
to support trauma prevention initiatives. Strong clinical knowledge
in trauma care Exceptional skills in program development and
management Proficient in data analysis and research methodologies
Effective communication and educational outreach abilities Ability
to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the medical community
Grant writing experience Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice Certification in trauma or emergency
nursing (e.g., TNCC or TCRN) preferred CPR Certified
