Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead
Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a dynamic hospital
setting. At the forefront of patient care, the Lead Respiratory
Therapist will oversee respiratory services, ensure the delivery of
exceptional care, and build professional capabilities within the
team. By incorporating state-of-the-art technology and
evidence-based practices, this vital position supports our mission
to care for and improve human life. Supervise respiratory therapy
staff and manage departmental operations. Develop and implement
respiratory care procedures and protocols. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and safety standards. Monitor patient care
and intervene with advanced respiratory treatments as necessary.
Train and mentor staff on new techniques and continuous improvement
efforts. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to
optimize patient outcomes. Manage patient records and departmental
documentation. Advanced knowledge of respiratory care practices and
procedures Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate and
maintain various types of respiratory care equipment Critical
thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental

license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner Registered Respiratory
Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
