Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist At HCA West Florida, we are

Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist on a full-time basis. If you

tasks and responsibilities as an Ultrasound Technologist (or
Sonographer) include but are not limited to: · Prepare and position
patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner · Accurately
perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner · Be responsible
for recording and processing ultrasound images · Maintain
statistical results for quality improvement · Maintain proactive
and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual
clinical findings, history, and/or test results Qualifications · A
two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a
12-month CAAHEP approved program · Valid ARDMS certification; RVT
(Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB (abdomen specialty) or ARDMS
OB/GYN within 1 year · Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification · 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound
Technologist · Other skills needed: organizational, verbal,
interpersonal, customer relations, clerical, basic computer,
mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension
of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions HCA

FL. We have a thirteen-acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We
are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee,
Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the

emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint
