expertise! Job Summary and Qualifications We are currently seeking
an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a full-time basis. As
an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech), you will
operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging
procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization (CC), as
well as those performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab
(scrubbing, circulating, and recording/monitoring patient status).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Demonstrate
accountability and responsibility and performs procedures and care
in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner - Safely and
competently prepare and position patients and equipment in
accordance with established operating procedures - Perform
technical radiographic procedures in a timely manner - Assist in
administration of contrast media - Obtain high quality radiographic
images and review quality of radiographs to ensure quality
standards have been met - You will obtain and document all
pertinent patient information prior to exam, i.e., patient history,
pregnancy, allergies and obtains informed consent in accordance
with departmental policy and procedure. - You will maintain
effective communication with patient; provides explanation of
procedures within scope of practice. - You will maintain proactive
and effective communication with radiologists. - You will be
responsible for rotating call will be assigned. Qualifications: -
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) - Associates Degree from a
2-year accredited School of Radiologic Technology - Clear/active
Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) - Current ARRT
credential; RCIS credential also considered in conjunction with
minimum Interventional Radiology (IR) experience - Minimum of two
(2) years licensed experience in Radiology to include at least one
(1) year of IR experience - 18 months experience in special
procedures - Angio, Peripheral and Neuro experience a plus - BLS
required upon hire and ACLS required within 6 months of hire
