Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for the remainder of
the current school year at an elementary school in Apopka, Florida.
This contract position offers the opportunity to support a diverse
caseload of PreK through 5th-grade students within an engaging
educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide
comprehensive speech and language therapy services to 70-80
students. Utilize communication devices and integrate visual
supports to address sensory needs. Address behavior challenges in
collaboration with an on-site assistant and fellow SLP. Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students'
goals. Maintain accurate documentation consistent with professional
and district standards. Qualifications & Experience: Professional
SLP licensure with Florida Department of Health approval is
required. Experience working with elementary school-aged children
(PreK-5th grade). Familiarity with communication devices and
strategies for behavior management. Ability to incorporate visual
supports for students with sensory needs. Collaborative skills to
work effectively with support staff and teaching teams. Location &
Schedule: Position is at an elementary school located in Apopka,
FL. Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Contract period: March 15, 2026, through May 29, 2026. This is a
maternity leave coverage assignment. Benefits: Work in a supportive
