Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract HCA Florida Largo Hospital Address: 201 14th Street, S.W. Largo, FL 33770 * HCA FL Largo West campus is a psych/rehab department of HCA FL Largo (Main) and should be treated as a float unit. - Parking: Park in the garage on the third and fourth floors (AM & PM shifts) - Scrub Color: RN – Navy Blue Tell us about the unit(s): - Number of Beds - 20 - Number of Staff – 60 - Type of staff: - Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) 3 Day CNC, 4 Night CNC - Night Shift - - Patient Ratios – 2:1 unless 1:1 - Type of equipment – CRRT, Impella, ECMO, VAD, IABP - EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - Critical care experience >1 year Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. - CV experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): - Bedside trache, thoracentesis - Post-op open heart surgery Best personality Fit: - Teamwork - Willingness to learn Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role./n/n2 yrs of solid ICU practice, Please account for 6 months orientation outside of this 2 years/n/nACLS/n/nNIHSS/n/nBLS/n/nUpdated resume
