Position OverviewWe're seeking an Analytics Manager for PINS
(Payee Identification and Network Security) to join our team,
reporting to the Senior Director. In this role, you'll lead the
PINS analytics team and drive the development of a structured
analytics program. Your focus will be on managing ongoing and
ad-hoc reporting, automation, and operational enhancements for the
PINS team, ensuring data accuracy and consistent reporting. You'll
also implement strategies to translate raw data into actionable
insights for decision-making within the PINS department and across
functional teams.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a structured analytics program, including
training, onboarding, and testing of skills for analysts, and
documentation of reporting requirements
- Prioritize requests from the PINS department and stakeholders,
ensuring capture of business cases and effective management of
deliverables
- Transform raw data into meaningful business insights for
decision-making and strategic planning
- Prepare data summaries and detailed reports for leadership,
identifying trends, patterns, areas of concern, and overall
business insights
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables through established
policies and processes
- Collaborate with data and analytics professionals to optimize
and scale the PINS team, ensuring continuity of reporting and
dashboards
- Identify areas for process improvements, including automation,
dashboard development, and visualization tools
- Enhance reporting of department KPIs and SLAs to provide
visibility into team accomplishments and areas for improvement
- Provide detailed explanation and training to end-users of
reporting and dashboards
- Manage day-to-day requests, enhancements, and tasks for
yourself and your team, ensuring alignment with current
departmental priorities
- Think creatively to solve complex problems and adapt
dynamically to changing risks and business needsRequired
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business and/or Computer Science; OR 7+
years of equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience leading a team of analysts or data
scientistsPreferred Qualifications
- Advanced modeling skills in SQL, Python, or comparable query
language competencies
- Highly analytical and proficient with database and
visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, vlookups, and
conditional formatting
- Ability to mine complex datasets and generate actionable
business recommendations
- Adaptability to change and effective response in a fast-paced,
deadline-focused environment
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and
storytelling
- Experience in fraud or risk preventionAs a leading payments
