Job Summary:
Are you someone who has a passion for managing the manufacturing
process and team to meet budget, quality, schedule, and revenue
goals for electrical/electronic products? Do you have an eye for
detail and ability to work with customers and operators on various
products for the automotive, aerospace, defense, and heavy
industries?
We are looking for the right person to be responsible for
directing, managing, planning and coordinating on time and on
budget assembly of products to drive revenue.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving revenue meeting both budget &
scheduling goals
- Oversees the lean manufacturing, shipping processes,
purchasing, and procedures in factory production operations
- Resolving planning and forecasting issues
- Evaluate, improve, and resolve process flow issues and make
suggestions for process efficiency and quality improvement
- Employee and performance and management by coaching, mentoring,
and resource allocation
- Coordinate material and employee resources including scheduling
& assignments
- Ability to set up and implement a visual manufacturing floor
through the implementation and maintenance of 6-S as defined by the
process improvement team on the manufacturing floor
- Assist with the on-boarding process of new production staff,
provide training and educational materials to staff and conduct
annual reviews for staff performance
- Ensure compliance with professional standards such as
occupational health and safety and customer requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Knowledge of business and management principles including Lean
manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, coaching,
mentoring and management of direct reports
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer
and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment,
meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer
satisfaction
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality
control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective
manufacture and distribution of goods
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel
recruitment, selection, training
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and
weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to
problems
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information
to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other
individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take
corrective action
- Ability to identify and communicate the appropriate, timely
actions required to meet or exceed customer expectations of
Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Firm understanding of safety regulations including OSHA and
other regulatory processes
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills with all levels of
the organization as well as customers
- Proven experience working in a management role in the industry
preferred
- Problem solving/Conflict resolution

- Deltek Costpoint ERP software and/or major ERP/MRP/MRO
software
- Knowledge of & adherence to ISO-9100, AS-9100, CMMI
standards

and coordination of people and resources
- Sense of urgency
Minimum Requirements Needed:
- BA/BS degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
- 5 to 12 years in manufacturing and previous management
experience required.
