You will join a fun, collaborative in-house agency team of copywriters, marketing strategists, designers, web developers and digital marketers who are singularly focused on generating quality leads for our company and our clients in the IT channel.Main Duties:As the SEO Manager, you will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing all of the SEO strategies at Marketopia. You will perform industry research, identify top-performing keywords, create sitemaps, recommend and create optimized content, contribute to digital campaigns, and track and report results.Your success will be measured by your ability to successfully increase a website's position in search rankings and to drive meaningful organic web traffic to those websites.Responsibilities* Take full ownership of all SEO strategies for Marketopia and its clients.* Perform industry research and provide key insights to guide SEO strategies, as well as provide guidance to the content team, web team and paid media team.* Perform detailed keyword research on a regular basis to create and expand the organic reach. Leverage competitive benchmarking and cross-channel analysis to arrive at targeted keyword sets and other strategies.* Execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase organic page rank and web traffic for a variety of websites.* Conduct in-depth link analysis, create action plans around link building or removal, and executing off-page optimization plans.* Conduct technical site audits on desktop and mobile to identify gaps, like correct indexing, AMP pages best practices, page indexing, text to HTML ratio, broken links, etc. and provide recommendations for improvement.* Produce ongoing reports of page ranking, website traffic, competitive landscape, and other KPIs.* Stay on top of SEO industry standards and best practices, proactively researching tech advancements assessing both their potential and actual impact.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent* 3+ years of professional digital marketing experience-preferably working with technology or B2B clients (agency experience is a plus)* 2+ years of direct SEO management with demonstrable experience increasing page rankings and driving organic traffic to websites* In-depth knowledge and application of current SEO best practices* Expert with relevant SEO tools (e.g. SEMRush, MOZ, Twilio, etc.) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Tracking Pixels)* Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint)* Working knowledge of WordPress platform and relevant SEO plugins* Working knowledge of marketing automation tools, such as HubSpot and/or SharpSpring* Knowledge of inbound call tracking for websites
