Job Description:

Under the direction of Sr. Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will perform a wide variety of accounting and finance related duties in the areas of Omni-Channel (Retail & Online), Financial reporting and Excise and Compliance Taxes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties will be assigned.Omni-ChannelPrepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, bank reconciliations and other financial reports to assess and ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting standards.On a monthly basis: prepare and process journal entries; complete the monthly Fixed Assets Roll-forwards and depreciation reconciliation between USA and Switzerland books. On a regular basis: process expense reports for employees; coordinate with A/R personnel on aged A/R for assigned entities; review cash position, open payables and select invoices for payment. Other duties will include maintaining and controlling archive of records as well as procedural manuals. Work with IT Department on accounting technical projects Financial ReportingAnalyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations.Preparation of the Budget along with monthly phasing per corporate office deadlines into LucaNet for all assigned entities. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets including preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Preparation of month-end and year-end closing financial reporting to corporate office in Switzerland into LucaNet for all assigned entities using internal workbookInput and reconciliation for Period 13 in SAP for all assigned entitiesPreparation of month-end reconciliation binders during closing for assigned entities and review of any possible P&L adjustments if neededLatest Estimate (LE) for all assigned entities per Switzerland deadlinesExcise and Compliance TaxesTax liaison working directly for the Director of Tax & Treasury on compliance tax filings, audits and information requests.Prepare/Review state and local excise tax returns in addition to supporting any audits that may arise.General Department Communicate with co-workers, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. Ad Hoc projects from Director of Tax & Treasury, CFO, Accounting Manager and Other ManagersTraining and developing of staff as neededDistribute monthly financial statements and other reports to CEO, CFO, Omni channel managers and Other ManagersBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.PI208376290
